The Titmus Occupational Vision Screener is a sophisticated screener that tests several important visual parameters either manually or via the AMS Software program. An important advantage of the Titmus screener is that it uses the Purdue university study on occupational vision screening to determine a PASS / REFER for 6 specific job categories.
The Titmus Occupational Vision screener tests the following visual parameters:
- Visual Acuity – Both eyes simultaneously as well as individual left and right eyes (using TNO, Landholdt or Snellen letters)
- Depth Perception
- Colour Perception
- Muscle Balance / Phoria (Horizontal)
- Muscle Balance / Phoria (Vertical) and
- Peripheral vision.
All above tests can be done in both far and near as well as day and night illumination testing (excluding Depth & Colour perception – only tested in far mode)
Intermediate slide sets can be ordered as an optional extra. This enables testing at the following distances – 50, 57, 67, 80 and 100 cm’s
